Enroll Now in the NCA CASI School Improvement Specialist Program
Now is the time ....
to take a step toward developing a comprehensive school improvement plan for your school or district. The NCA CASI School Improvement Specialist Program prepares teachers, administrators and district leaders to direct and facilitate a comprehensive school improvement process. Participants develop a plan as they work through the program. When the program is complete, participants are well on their way to implementing the plan.

Program Features
Participants take four graduate-level distance courses taught by faculty from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Educational Administration. All courses are offered online through an interactive Web approach. Students interact with other participants regularly. New course sequences start this fall. There is still time to register before the end of August.

With the coming of the new annual report, access to the report will no longer be gained via the school customer number and password. Instead, principals will need to log into the website in order to participate in the annual report function. All principals will need to register with their email address, select a password, and let us know the school with which they are affiliated. The website will be ready to accept this information August 1. If a principal is already registered on the website, we will be providing instructions on how he or she can specify the school affiliation without having to re-register.
New Software Released
Version 2.03 of the NCA software can now be downloaded from the NCA website by member schools. This free software is a key tool for internal steering committee chairs and external team chairs. The software upgrades deal primarily with printing problems, although some other bugs (particularly in Data Analysis) have been corrected. A more complete list of the changes is available on the software section of the NCA CASI Website http://www.ncacasi.org/sitools/software/changelog.adp. Users should have no trouble navigating the new version of the software if they are familiar with version 2.02. Installing version 2.03 does not overwrite the existing version (2.02). An auto-import feature has been added that will assist you in importing data from earlier versions of the software suite. The technical support staff can respond to any questions or problems that users experience.

Call 800-525-9517 (press 3)
for technical assistance.
